Sacramental Preparation
Following the guidelines of the Archdiocese, children must have one year of formal instruction before entering the Sacramental program. Be sure the your First graders are enrolled and regularly attend the Faith Formation classes. When registering a child for Sacramental Prep., please bring in the Baptism Certificate!
Families
Welcome to another year of Faith Formation! Parents, your children will be given a Parent’s Handbook which lists the schedule for the year! Prayers are included to provide a tool for you in praying with your children! You are welcome to stay at the beginning of each class and join the children as they come together for opening prayer.

ELEMENTARY FAITH FORMATION:

Kindergarten - 5th:
Wednesday - 4:30 - 5:30 PM, 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Thursday - 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Curriculum: The textbook series, "Call To Faith" (Harcourt Company) is currently used in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th. The series is deeply rooted in church tradition and integrates scripture, doctrine, lives of the saints, cultural customs and celebrations in each of the lessons. The aim of "Call To Faith" is to form participants into disciples who act with the and and heart of Christ.
The textbook series, RCL/Benziger, Reconciliation, Pardon and Peace, and Eucharist, We give Thanks and Praise, is the tool that 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th graders use for Sacramental Prep classes. The reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated in January and the Sacrament of Eucharist is received in April.
