Emergency Outreach

FOOD PANTRY AND UTILITY AND RENT ASSISTANCE

Emergency Outreach is run by members of our church.  Its mission is to serve men, women and children in need of spiritual, emotional or physical assistance regardless of age, race, gender, language or religion living in Thurston County.  A system of confidential records is maintained.

Emergency Outreach financial assistance is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 am – 12:30 pm when funds are available, to provide emergency assistance for utility, water and rent.  Clients must check in by 12:15 pm.

Emergency Outreach food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 pm – 2:45 pm.

Would you like to help with an organization who helps those less fortunate? Are you a caring, friendly and nonjudgmental person who wants to help sort, package, distribute food or services to those who come? Are you able to smile, cheerfully serve, are a good listener and/or are bilingual? Guidelines:

Outreach services are available to Thurston County residents only.

Financial assistance may be provided one time a year for the following areas: utilities, rent, medication. Assistance will be provided for only two consecutive years.

Hours for financial assistance

Financial Assistance is from 11 am – 12:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and is based on funds available.
